If you have travelled to Turkey before you will know that previously you had to get in a rather large queue at the airport for your visa. Now you will be able to sail through customs and enjoy your holiday from the moment you arrive in Turkey.
Confirmation has been given from the British Consulate that the practice of issuing affixed/stamped visas at the border gates will finish on the 10th of April 2014 and will be totally replaced by the e-visa system (An e-Visa is a document that allows the bearer to legally enter Turkey). After this date you will need to purchase an e-visa online before entering Turkey.
